Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett was proud to be recognized as the 2025 Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year at The Pro Bono Project’s Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon and Awards Ceremony held on October 23rd. Every year, the organization honors lawyers, law firms, students, businesses, and members of the judiciary who have provided, improved, and excelled in the delivery of volunteer civil legal services.
Throughout the year, our attorneys have taken on direct referral cases, volunteered at the Civil District Court Self-Help Resource Center, and assisted with the silent auction for the Justice For All Ball (JFAB), the organization’s largest fundraiser. As Executive Director C.C. Kahr said of the firm, “Your dedication and service from the JFAB and the Self-Help Desk to direct work with our clients have made a meaningful difference, and we are truly grateful for all that your firm has contributed.”
We are also pleased to announce that Alex Domingue was selected as a recipient of The Pro Bono Project’s Distinguished Service Award. As Ms. Kahr said about Alex’s contributions, “Your dedication of countless hours—whether raising vital funds through the Justice For All Ball, assisting clients at the Self-Help Resource Center, or devoting your time to casework—has been instrumental in advancing access to justice in our community.”
Alex has shown a fierce dedication to serving the community by providing pro bono civil legal services. He accepted an invitation to join the Pro Bono Project as a Member of the Board of Directors and began serving a two-year term on January 1, 2025. In 2024, he was the co-chair of the Silent Auction for the organization’s Justice for All Ball, helping to raise funds to support the organization’s mission.

MBLB has been a longtime sponsor of The Pro Bono Project’s Annual Justice For All Ball. The organization’s mission of providing free, quality civil legal services to the underserved members of the community easily aligns with one of the firm’s core values: Community.
Many of the firm’s attorneys who regularly volunteer with the organization were also in attendance, including Katie Briuglio, who accepted the award on behalf of the firm, Noah Borer, Hieu “Scott” Le, Connor O’Brien, and Annie Weldon. Other MBLB attorneys who have contributed to the pro-bono efforts of The Pro Bono Project are Arthur Chassaignac, John D’Avello, Katie Fox, and Tyffani Leveque.
