Bureau of Labor Statistics Reports on Median Earnings

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the median weekly earnings of the United States’s 114.9 million full-time workers were $859 for the third quarter of 2017.  The statistics measured median earnings for men and women, and for whites, blacks, Asians and Latinos.  Of the total population, men had median weekly earnings of $937 and women had median weekly earnings of $767, or 81.9% of the median for men.  Asians had the highest median earnings at $1,010, whereas Latinos had the lowest, at $655.  More information regarding these statistics can be found here.
