Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett is pleased to announce that Jakob R. Jackson has joined the firm as an associate attorney in the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act practice area.

Jakob Jackson was highly involved in student activities at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He served as the Ad Hoc Officer for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and was a 3L Class Representative of the Student Bar Association. He was also a student practitioner for the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic Criminal Defense section, where he gained valuable experience litigating felony criminal cases, doing legal research and writing, and fine-tuning his interpersonal skills.

He leverages this experience to tirelessly advocate for his clients throughout the litigation process. “I have an ability to analyze situations from multiple points of view.
