Associate Ashley DeMouy’s practice focuses on transportation, trucking, and insurance defense.

Prior to joining Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, Ashley spent the first years of her legal career as a Public Defender where she managed a high case load and remained a zealous advocate for her clients. There she honed her litigation skills and tried numerous cases before both judges and juries.

Ashley switched to civil litigation and served as a law clerk to the Hon. Ellen M. Hazeur where she was involved in all stages of cases before the Court, including preparation of legal opinions, judgments, and jury selection in various areas of civil practice. Her practice has since been focused on Insurance Defense and she has briefed and argued before several State district and appellate courts.

Ashley believes that success comes from the ability to learn, grow, listen, and be humble, yet remain firm. “Lawyers are in the business of service: service to our clients, service to our community, and service to our profession.
