Wrapping gifts for Ramon

This holiday season, attorneys in our Chicago office volunteered to participate in the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) Guardianship Holiday Gift Program. They were matched with Ramon, a 12-year-old in Markham, Illinois, who has been living with his guardian since he was an infant. Ramon received a 3-D printer, LEGOs, and a hat he has been wishing for.

Ramon was very thankful for the gifts. When Samantha Kaplan who heads the Chicago office, asked him what he was going to make with the 3-D printer, he said, “Some toys and give them all away.”

Thank you to everyone who helped with the gift selection, wrapping, and delivery. Thanks to Jamie Flores, Brenda Alvarez, Lejla Alibasic, and Eric Gershilevich for taking time out of their busy days to assist with wrapping and delivering the gifts.
