MBLB Sponsors Puerto Rican Bar Association Summer Soiree and Scholarship Fundraiser

PRBA Summer SoireeOn August 1st, Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett was proud to be a Wave Sponsor of the Summer Soiree hosted by the Puerto Rican Bar Association of Illinois (PRBA), a fundraiser for the PRBA Scholarship Fund.

Chicago associates Brenda Alvarez (a PRBA Board Member), Lejla Alibasic, Alexa Buechler, Jamie Flores, and Sarpreet Sodhi joined attorneys, judges, and community leaders for a yacht cruise along Lake Michigan, enjoying views of the Chicago skyline, music and networking.

The PRBA Scholarship Fund was established to promote diversity within the legal profession by providing scholarships to law students from ABA-accredited law schools who can demonstrate contributions or a commitment to the Puerto Rican or LatinX community. Scholarships are awarded to qualified law students who have completed at least one year of law school. In awarding scholarships, PRBA considers academic achievement, community involvement, commitment to diversity and inclusion with the legal profession, and financial need.
