MBLB was proud to be a sponsor of the event, which brings the legal community together for a little friendly competition and helps to fund the Veterans Justice Fellowship. This prestigious fellowship provides life-changing civil legal help to address the needs of low-income veterans in the New Orleans area.
For the second year in a row, MBLB placed in the “Best Of” category for Noah Borer’s homemade ice cream. To go along with our Red White & MouleBlue theme, the Star Spangled Strawberry ice cream was drizzled with homemade blueberry and raspberry sauce and topped with just the right amount of red, white and blue sprinkles. Dylan Madere added the finishing touch—a dusting of graham crackers.
But Noah’s ice cream was not the only crowd pleaser dished up by our chefs. Team leader Arthur Chassaignac, along with Connor O’Brien and Aaron Broussard, prepared some delicious Firecracker Crawfish Balls, and Jakob Jackson, with assistance from Craig Gardiner, served beautifully layered red, white, and blue Bomb Pop Slushies.
Throughout the competition, Claire Colomb, Hannah Perret, and Anna Dedeaux helped with serving and kept the table top display from blowing over in the beautiful breeze. And shout out to Alex Domingue, who did a masterful job running the entire event with his co-chair!
The Annual Bar & Grille is always one of our favorites. It’s nice to see other attorneys and friends working together for a good cause.
Congratulations to all who participated in this year! We look forward to seeing you next year.
