Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett was proud to be a 1 Star Sponsor of the Military Appreciation Day Luncheon hosted by the Greater New Orleans Council of the Navy League on April 27, 2023. MBLB CFO Adam M. Laurie and several attorneys attended the luncheon, which was held at the New Orleans Sheraton. Adam served on both active duty and in the reserves as an aviation officer in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant.
The annual luncheon, the oldest of its kind in the nation, is held to recognize and honor the men and women of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces in our community. The guest speaker was Admiral Steven D. Poulin, 33rd Vice Commandant, U. S. Coast Guard. He is well familiar with the Gulf Coast having been Federal Incident Commander for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response operations, Commander of Coast Guard Sector Mobile, and Deputy Commander, Coast Guard Group Galveston, Texas.
The U.S. Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps color guard presented colors at the luncheon.
