The conference brought together industry experts to discuss national trends and specific strategies in self-insurance and workers’ compensation. The keynote speaker was Governor Jeff Landry, who thanked LASIE for their work in strengthening businesses and protecting workers in Louisiana.

Member Simone Yoder moderated a panel on excess reinsurance and attorneys Noah Borer and Katie Fox attended.

About LASIE

The Louisiana Association of Self Insured Employers (LASIE) was formed in 1991 to promote and protect the right of businesses to self-insure. The organization serves as a spokesman at the state level on issues affecting self-insurers in workers’ compensation, health, automobile liability, general liability, maritime, fiduciary liability and property & casualty insurance.

LASIE is a statewide information service and educational forum for Louisiana employers. The organization represents all lines of self-insurance, including workers’ compensation, health, auto, general liability, property and casualty, marine, and fiduciary liability.
