The event, which was held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Peristyle at City Park, was hosted by the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association (NOBA). The Bar & Grille law firm cooking competition brings the legal community and private business together to fund the Veterans Justice Fellowship. This prestigious fellowship provides life-changing civil legal help to address the needs of low-income veterans in the New Orleans area.
Under bluebird skies, the team of chefs at “Camp MBLB” competed against other law firms for several different “best of” categories. Leading our team were captains Tyler Loga and Katie Fox. Head Chef Arthur Chassaignac was assisted by Connor O’Brien in preparing the award-winning Boudin Melts (with Tyler offering assistance). Head Chef Noah Borer whipped up the crowd-pleasing S’mores Ice Cream.
We could only enter in two categories, but our Frozen Strawberry Irish Lemonade mixed up by Head Chef Jakob Jackson, was also very popular. And shout out to Ava Wolf, who did a masterful job running the entire event with her co-chair!
Everyone worked really hard to perfect their recipes over the last month and it paid off big time!
