Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett is excited to announce that we have moved into our new office in Suite 600 of the Hancock Whitney Center. Same building, different floor!
When Managing Member, Alan Brackett, first met with the design team at GOAT about building out the new space, he gave them this challenge: Don’t design for me, design for the younger attorneys who are the future of the firm. While the process began before the pandemic, the result is a law office that meets today’s challenges.
As Alan says, “When we designed this space a year ago, we weren’t thinking about social distancing, but in fact it’s perfect for the concerns of the new workplace. Each practice team’s respective area has a combination of private offices for attorneys and glass-partitioned workstations for secretaries and paralegals, allowing everyone to work safely individually, without sacrificing needed privacy. Generously sized communal spaces allow people to practice social distancing while still working collaboratively. And at a time when people are very stressed, GOAT’s humanist approach—regardless of where one is in the space, the outside is always visible—makes the office a pleasant place to work for everyone.”
While the firm is currently limiting the number of visitors, we are still holding meetings and depositions as needed. Our new office is “teched out,” so we can conduct legal proceedings remotely, and have already handled several remote trials.
