MBLB associate Hieu “Scott” Le has been elected Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s (LSBA) Inclusive Practice Section.

The Inclusive Practice Section supports attorneys from diverse backgrounds while also addressing practical barriers to the practice of law, including socioeconomic challenges, geographic isolation, limited resources, and underrepresented areas of practice. The section will emphasize collaboration with other LSBA sections and committees to promote professionalism, mentorship, and excellence throughout the legal profession.

Scott’s areas of practice include the defense of employers and insurance carriers for claims arising under the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act.

Scott strongly believes in actively participating in his profession and community. He is a volunteer attorney for the Civil District Court Self-Help Resource Center and the Secretary of the Vietnamese American Bar Association, and serves as an E-board Member and the Programming Chair of the New Orleans Pride Center.
