Hieu “Scott” Le Appointed Secretary of LSBA Minority Involvement Section

Hien "Scott" LeMouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett is pleased to announce that Associate Hieu “Scott” Le was appointed as the new Secretary for the Minority Involvement Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association. The new Board was installed on July 1, 2024.

The most diverse comprised section of the Bar, the Minority Involvement Section was designed to foster a sense of inclusiveness and community among those attorneys who feel their special needs are not currently an intricate part of the Bar system. Sections of the Louisiana State Bar Association enable attorneys to network within their specific fields and areas of interest. Using the Bar’s 31 sections, you can get in touch with other licensed legal professionals working in the same areas of practice to exchange advice and support.

About Hieu “Scott” Le

Scott’s areas of practice include the defense of employers and insurance carriers for claims arising under the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act.

Before joining Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, Hieu primarily practiced in the Louisiana state courts. During this time, he handled matters ranging from personal injury claims to contract disputes and municipal-level criminal defense. He also gained experience in New Jersey and New York, where his practice included civil rights advocacy, foreclosure defense, consumer fraud litigation, labor disputes, and health care-related benefits hearings.

Scott strongly believes in actively participating in his community and serves as an E-board member of the New Orleans Pride Center. He also a member of the LSBA LGBT Subcommittee of the Diversity Committee and Vietnamese American Bar Association. More >
