J. Edward McAuliffe, III Presents “State Civil Court Rules & Motions” CLE at LSBA Seminar

Edward McAuliffe Presenting CLEAssociate Edward J. McAuliffe, III recently presented a “State Civil Court Rules & Motions” CLE for the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) Bridging the Gap Seminar. This seminar acquaints recent law school graduates with many of the practical aspects of a law practice and affords newly admitted active members of the Louisiana Bar the opportunity to obtain their mandatory continuing legal education. This is the third time that Edward has presented this CLE at a Bridging the Gap Seminar.

About Edward McAuliffe

Edward’s practice areas at Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett focus on trucking and transportation and insurance defense. However, prior to joining MBLB, he was an Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans, where he rose quickly through the ranks, eventually heading up the District Attorney’s Bond and Asset Forfeiture Division. He represented his office at the Louisiana District Attorney’s Association, aided in overseeing civil litigation, and implemented new policies and procedures both in his office and throughout the New Orleans criminal justice system. He has presented multiple CLEs on criminal law topics throughout his career.

Edward’s criminal law experience is an advantage for his defense clients. He maintains an in-depth knowledge of the criminal court process, and can quickly navigate through tangled webs of criminal processes, documentation, or traffic violations.
