Edward McAuliffe Presents a CLE on Bail and Criminal Prescription at Orleans Parish District Attorneys Office

J Edward McAuliffe IIIOn December 3, Associate Edward J. McAuliffe, III made two presentations, “Bond College 2021” and “Preserving Prosecution, Avoiding Prescription,” for an Orleans Parish District Attorneys Office CLE on Bail and Criminal Prescription.

Edward’s practice areas at Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett focus on trucking and transportation and insurance defense. However, prior to joining MBLB, he was an Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans, where he rose quickly through the ranks, eventually heading up the District Attorney’s Bond and Asset Forfeiture Division. He represented his office at the Louisiana District Attorney’s Association, aided in overseeing civil litigation, and implemented new policies and procedures both in his office and throughout the New Orleans criminal justice system. He has presented multiple CLEs on criminal law topics throughout his career.

Ed’s criminal law experience is an advantage for his defense clients. He maintains an in-depth knowledge of the criminal court process, and can quickly navigate through tangled webs of criminal processes, documentation, or traffic violations.
