Daniel J. Hoerner and Mark E. Hanna Join MBLB as Equity Members

Mouledoux Bland Legrand & Brackett, LLC. is pleased to announce that Daniel J. Hoerner and Mark E. Hanna joined the firm as equity members on January 1, 2022.

About Daniel J. Hoerner

Daniel J. Hoerner - Attorney at MBLBDan Hoerner has been a member of Mouledoux Bland Legrand and Brackett since its founding in 1997 and practiced with the firm’s founders for five years prior to that. His practice is primarily litigation-based, with emphasis on admiralty and maritime law, general casualty and insurance defense, personal injury defense, property damage claims, employer and premises liability, and contract negotiations and disputes. He has successfully represented his clients, which include companies in the insurance, shipping, and transportation industries, in state and federal district and appellate courts and before various governmental agencies.

As supported by peer honors, Dan has developed a reputation as a skilled litigation attorney, who maintains the highest standards of professionalism, qualities that have attributed to him being widely recognized as one of the top litigators in the transportation and maritime industries.

Dan is known for his goal-oriented approach to litigation. He has a depth of experience in the areas of law in which he practices and has honed his litigation skills to enable him to resolve his clients’ cases favorably and efficiently.

He is entering his second year of serving on the firm’s Executive Committee and this year, will also serve on the Finance Committee.

About Mark E. Hanna

Mark E. Hanna - Attorney at MBLBMark Hanna has over thirty years’ experience in litigation and is entering his 10th year with MBLB. Mark’s practice focuses on government and municipal liability, product liability, insurance defense litigation, and commercial/construction litigation. He is also skilled in handling toxic tort and asbestos cases. He has represented national insurers, governmental entities, construction and commercial-related businesses and oil and gas companies.

As supported by the peer honors he has received, Mark has developed a reputation as one of the top attorneys in civil litigation and municipal law.

Mark is known for being driven to achieve the goals of his clients. He is persuasive in crafting arguments and knowledgeable about statutory law and jurisprudence, which greatly increases the chance of a favorable outcome no matter how challenging the case.

Mark is entering his second year as serving on the firm’s Finance Committee and this year, will serve as the Maritime-Casualty Practice Group Leader.
