Alex J. Domingue Accepted to 2024/2025 Leadership LSBA Class

Alex DomingueMouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett is pleased to announce that Associate Alex J. Domingue has been accepted to the 2024/2025 Leadership Louisiana State Bar Association Class. The program was created in 2002 by LSBA President Larry Feldman, Jr. It provides exposure for young lawyers on how the LSBA functions as well as the pressing issues that face the Association and the legal profession. It also provides participants with general information on the responsibilities of volunteer leaders.

The Class term runs from late August (orientation) to June (LSBA Annual Meeting). Requirements for the Leadership LSBA Class include:

  • attending a meeting of the Board of Governors
  • attending a meeting of the House of Delegates
  • attending a meeting of the Young Lawyers Division Council
  • attending a Budget Committee meeting
  • attending a meeting of the Access to Justice Committee
  • attending a meeting of a LSBA committee (chosen by participant)
  • committing to serving on a LSBA committee, the year following completion of Leadership LSBA

Participants are also required to organize an individual class project to address needs in the legal profession and the community at large. The goal of the class project is to further develop the participants’ leadership skills and to provide them with opportunities for statewide networking.

About Alex J. Domingue

Alex Domingue’s areas of practice include the defense of employers and insurance carriers for claims arising under the Jones Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act.

Alex is highly involved in the legal profession. He is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and Co-chair of the YLS Law School Liaison Group. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association as well as its Ethics Advisory Service Committee and CLE Committee. He is also a Fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation. More >
