Professionalism 101 panelOn March 4, associate Alex Domingue was a guest speaker at the Professional 101 panel hosted by the Federal Bar Association–Loyola Chapter. Alex was joined by Rachel Naquin, Gordon “Jess” Waltman, III, and Ellen Short, attorneys from three New Orleans law firms, for the event which was held at Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law.

The interactive, real-world conversation about what professionalism actually looks like in practice provided an inside perspective for the law students. From courtroom conduct to client communication and workplace expectations, the candid, practical, and engaging discussion covered the things that young lawyers do not always learn in class.

Sponsors included the Tulane Law FBA, Federal Association New Orleans Chapter, and the Women Law Student Association at Loyola.

Alex is a Member of the Younger Lawyers Division Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association, New Orleans Chapter, which is dedicated to improving the professional lives of members of the bench and bar. He regularly presents CLEs for the Louisiana State Bar Association and other professional organizations on topics such as “Don’t Take Risks With 5.6” and “Navigating claims under Section 8(f) of the LHWCA as they relate to hearing loss.”
