Today, our MBLB Community Partners started the morning off early with Grace at the Green Light, an organization that provides essentials to not only help the homeless in New Orleans but to show them there are people out there who do care about them.
Together we served hot breakfast to 191 community members at Ozanam Inn which is up by 22 since our last day of service. Our team worked together to fill trays with breakfast, serve coffee and chocolate milk, pass out bottles of water, water bottles, and Bombas socks. There was lots of appreciation all around.
We wrapped up at 7:30AM – just in time to avoid the morning traffic. Overall it was a great start to the morning.
