MBLB Team Serves Community at Grace at the Green Light

MBLB team at Grace at the GreenlightAttorneys and staff at Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett regularly serve our community through Grace At the Green Light. The organization’s mission is to offer New Orleans’ unhoused population choices while providing for their basic needs (water, food, clothing and community) in a loving manner that embraces the human spirit.

A group of MBLB team members started off our day bright and early at Grace at the Green Light on Tuesday, April 23, helping to serve breakfast to nearly 230 unhoused people within our community. Our team first volunteered at Grace At the Green Light for our first annual Day of Service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who said, “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.”

With community service being one of our firm’s core values, we look forward to these opportunities when we can serve our community together.

Grace At the Green Light is a 501c3 that has been hard at work changing the culture of our great city since June 1st, 2014. Every day, its mission is to provide care for the people who need it the most. We’ve all seen someone down and out looking for a little hope at the green lights, and as we speed away to our lives, they’re still there. The organization hopes to provide essentials to not only help the homeless in New Orleans, but to show them there are people out there who do care about them.

Grace at the Green Light has an urgent need for men’s clothing. They accept drop offs any Wednesday between 9am-1pm.
