Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett’s Marching 4 McFaull team was awarded the 1st Place Corporate Fundraising Team at this year’s Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) One Walk. MBLB was proud to raise $16,592 for the annual event. The firm started participating in the One Walk as a tribute to our forever colleague, Jordan McFaull, who passed away from Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in 2015.

MBLB was also happy to partner with the JDRF One Walk this year as a corporate sponsor. In 2018, the firm formally adopted JDRF as the firm’s philanthropic charity and matches the funds raised by our team. We have raised more than $100,000 for T1D since we started participating in the One Walk nine years ago.

Just under 40 people showed up to support our Marching 4 McFaull team, including three kids, five dogs and members of Jordan’s family. In addition to participating in the One Walk, we tossed around the football, played soccer and indulged in donuts, kolaches, pastries and an assortment of beverages. There was also a heated cornhole competition between the Logas and the (future) Scotts.

JDRF funds research that transforms the lives of people with T1D. The organization’s goal is to find a cure, along the way driving scientific progress that delivers new treatments and therapies that make day-to-day life with T1D easier, safer and healthier.
