William H. Murphy, Associate
William Murphy’s practice focuses on the defense of employers and insurance carriers for claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act.
Prior to joining Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, William gained valuable experience as an Orleans Parish Assistant District Attorney and a legal assistant in a personal injury law firm. In these roles, he assisted in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings, drafted motions and legal correspondence, and coordinated with clients and opposing counsel.
This experience has shaped his disciplined, detail-oriented approach to advocacy. “I am highly focused on preparation and establishing clear communication with my clients so that I can deliver practical and effective solutions for their matters.”
A New Orleans resident, William is a passionate football fan. He enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with friends.
