Morgan J. Wells, Jr., has more than 38 years of experience in energy, maritime, trucking, transportation, auto dealer, construction, and general casualty litigation. Throughout his practice, Morgan has represented a wide array of private businesses and insurers in these industries, and he has developed a reputation as a highly skilled trial attorney in energy, trucking, and general casualty litigation.
Throughout his practice, Morgan has represented operators and contractors in the oilfield, natural gas transmission companies, interstate and intrastate trucking companies, transportation businesses, auto dealers, construction companies, and owners of businesses in premises liability matters.

Morgan regularly coordinates investigations of catastrophic losses through the retention and use of experts and with an early analysis of potential liability and exposure of his clients. Morgan is a New Orleans native who has lived in the New Orleans area his entire life. He and his wife, Shelly, raised their three children on the northshore, where Morgan coached all three of his kids’ teams in soccer, baseball, and basketball.
