Meghan M. Drago, Associate

Meghan Drago’s areas of practice include the defense of employers and insurance carriers for claims arising under the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act.

Prior to joining MBLB, Meghan gained valuable litigation and courtroom experience at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office which has shaped her approach to the practice of law. “Working in a fast-paced environment taught me the importance of preparation, attention to detail, and thinking on my feet. I pride myself on being an efficient and thoughtful negotiator, a strong advocate, and someone who values the professional relationships that I have built along the way.”

While attending Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Meghan interned with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office Juvenile Division and was a member of the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law.

Meghan is a Baton Rouge native, but fell in love with New Orleans while in law school. Outside of the office, she loves trying new restaurants, shopping, spending time with her family and friends, and cheering on the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
