Levi Darby Henderson, Associate
Levi Darby Henderson’s practice focuses on defending civilian contractors and their insurers for claims arising under the Defense Base Act. His experience includes handling claims involving psychological, hearing loss, orthopedic, and gastrointestinal injuries across multiple Office of Administrative Law Judges districts.
Levi has also handled personal injury and property insurance litigation, including automobile accidents and hurricane-related claims, primarily in Louisiana state courts. He is a skilled investigator, and adept at identifying fraud and developing zero-award defenses. “Sometimes, you’re able to find one big piece of information that anchors your argument. But the longer I do this kind of work, I’ve found that ‘death by a thousand cuts’ can be just as effective.”
As a law student, Levi worked for Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans Immigration and Refugee Services, assisting undocumented persons in removal proceedings, minors seeking Special Immigrant Status, and asylee/refugee applicants. He also assisted attorneys in pro bono representation of UNITY of Greater New Orleans, a nonprofit organization providing housing and other services to unhoused people in the New Orleans metro area.
Originally from the Texas Panhandle, Levi has resided in New Orleans since 2020, where he attended Tulane University Law School.
