Karina N. Beique, Associate
Karina Neira Beique’s practice focuses on the defense of employers and insurance carriers for claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act.
Prior to joining Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, Karina practiced at a prominent defense firm, where she further developed her experience handling Defense Base Act matters and refined her skills in litigation strategy, high-volume case management, and client service. “I take a creative and strategic approach to complex litigation, particularly in developing and managing discovery, and keep my clients informed through every step of the litigation process.”
Karina brings a diverse professional background and a disciplined, solutions-oriented mindset to her practice. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience in immigration law, which strengthened her advocacy skills and ability to manage fast-moving matters. She also worked as an auditor, where she developed strong document review and analytical skills that continue to support her legal practice.
A native of South Texas, she resides in Houston, Texas, with her husband and dogs, and enjoys cooking and thrifting for hidden vintage gems.
