Curran R. Greenberg, Associate

Associate Curran “Hank” Greenberg’s practice focuses on admiralty and maritime litigation and insurance defense. He also has experience in cargo law, insurance coverage matters, and municipal liability. Prior to joining Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, Hank litigated high-exposure transportation and maritime injury matters.

Hank is known for being amiable, level-headed, and humorous: “I think I’m particularly good at having the ability to view my client’s issue from an objective, persuasive, and adversarial perspective all at once.”

Hank attended Tulane University Law School, where he obtained a Maritime Law Certificate and was a research assistant to Professor Davies, the Director of the Maritime Law Center. As part of his work for Professor Davies, he researched, edited, and catalogued Chinese maritime law cases. He was also an executive member of the Maritime Law Society and a tutor for Professor Ronald Scalise in Successions.

Hank is also a proud alumnus of Sewanee: The University of the South, where he was a member of the Order of the Gown and graduated with honors.

Hank is a New Orleans transplant and now considers the city home with his wife, Olivia, and their two dogs, Tippie and Tot. He is an avid New Orleans Saints and Pelicans fan. In his spare time, Hank enjoys construction and restoration projects, particularly fixing-up his fixer-upper Uptown home and restoring small Boston Whalers. He also has a passion for cooking and hosting dinners, where he often acts as a poor imitation of a sous-chef with his friends and family.
