C. William “Bill” Emory, Member

Member Bill Emory has more than 25 years of experience as a litigator in all areas of admiralty and maritime law as well as insurance, general casualty, transportation, environmental, class actions, and commercial matters. Bill focuses his practice on the litigation needs of his clients and has represented their interests in class actions, environmental matters, general corporate matters, and the ownership and use of property in Louisiana. He has served as trial counsel for a diverse client base ranging from global Fortune 500 corporations and leading insurance companies to local companies and individuals throughout the United States.

Bill handles every case as if it were his own. His board experience enables him to recognize and adjust quickly to the unique demands of his clients and their situations. “Being familiar with every facet of the case and having years of experience working on a wide range of matters and with people from those at the highest corporate level to the average Joe, allows me to quickly and effectively respond to changing dynamics in order to best serve my clients’ interests.”

Bill, who is originally from Virginia where he lived in Martinsville, Charlottesville, and Richmond, moved to Louisiana in 1979. He plays golf and tennis, and enjoys traveling, reading and music.
