Arthur J. Chassaignac, Associate
Arthur Chassaignac’s practice focuses on admiralty and maritime, transportation and automobile defense and litigation, general casualty and insurance defense, and first party property insurance defense. Prior to joining Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett, Arthur interned at a civil defense litigation firm, gaining experience on a variety of matters.
Arthur is detail-oriented and motivated. He is known for his sense of humor and eagerness to achieve results, attributes that make him a pleasure to work with.
While studying at Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law, Arthur served on the board of the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law. As a Comment Editor, he read, analyzed, and edited candidates’ comment articles, helping the writers craft their best work as well as selecting comments for publication that advanced the journal’s mission and were of importance to the public.
He obtained his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University, where he studied English, focusing on reading, writing and rhetoric. His studies empowered him to understand how to craft a strong legal argument.
Arthur was born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge. He graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge and returned to New Orleans to obtain his legal education and begin his career. He enjoys spending time with friends, exercising, travelling, and making time for his family.
